Some may think this country is a hopeless nation with limited potential. I was able to experience and really take in the beautiful side as well as the desolate. Ethiopia has ancient history rich with meaning and depth. The people are survivors and truly remarkable. We visited Lalibala and the ancient churches that were carved into the mountain side. The workmanship and authenticity was breath taking.
